FYI A submodule doesn't have to use a gitfile and a corresponding `$GIT_DIR/modules/` and there are good reasons not to. As long as the submodule has a '.git' it can be a symlink, or regular .git directory for a self contained embedded repo. You can still use the same gitlink in the parent repo representing it's commit id and git will still manage it. If I have a 20GB submodule I'd usually just do a `git clone && git submodule add ` and it will pass under the NO_PROXY exception and skip the security proxy. Next, by changing its /etc/hosts file, which declares mappings from hostnames to IP addresses, the agent can invent a hostname that ends in this trusted suffix, such as bypass.blob.core.windows.net, and it will be treated the same by git. But now I can just delete it and it's purged. And it is more portable less fragile in some ways because it's not de-referencing a gitfile. I prefer my repos to be more subtle? Also if they were more misaligned, possibly they can research ways to recruit without humans noticing--but i don't think it is likely this is happening now. Does this work well in direct sunlight? Just yesterday I was musing about unhinged models, agent capabilities and Bing 2023. Funny coincidences :) AI usage is still evolving like crazy. Alas; very nice page (collusion.wiki), and interesting research. Even suspected to be at a minimum temperature for the solder to properly flow. Parts with a lot of metal attached to it will need more time to get hot. Most notorious are pads connected to a large (ground) plane. If the solder does not flow properly because of this, increase the time of contact between your soldering iron and the items, add a small amount of solder to the tip to increase contact area. Or use a heat gun in your other hand or a preheater. Or buy a soldering iron with more power. Flux will help too. Use a fan to draw the fumes away from you, at a minimum. If you do this on a daily basis, get a fume extractor. There are many more tips on the internet. The first thing I mentioned is the most important one, imho.

Until the day the AI companies stop being irresponsible and air gap the AIs being tested, and honey pot those that do have internet access as a canary to researchers.
